The Hundreds Celebrate 5 Years!

We were very fortunate to be invited to celebrate The Hundreds 5 year anniversary Friday in K-town. Congratulations to Ben, Bobby, Scotty, and the rest of the crew. We have been working with these guys for the past couple of years and I can honestly say that they are some of the best people you will ever meet, true, stand-up guys that had a dream, believed in it and made it very successful. Congratulations again, and here is to many more years.

Scotty has the uncanny ability to grow hair while you look at him. I am pretty sure he shaved his head the day before the party.

Jarred from WeAreNotYou, always looking to have his picture taken. In this rare shot you can also see that Eddie from Commune/Fast Eddies Garage is actually a robot.

Patrick from Mosley Tribes recovering from a rough day of employee appreciation in Malibu.

Paul Sun from the TST doing what he does best.

Maurice from Twelve Bar doing what he does best. For those of you keeping track, this is the second image on this blog of Maurice being kind enough to carry 2 drinks in case anyone else is thirsty, including himself.

Paul Sun and Erick Peyton from Jelani33rd. It’s been a while since we have seen Erick, it’s almost like he has been ducking us (kidding EP).

Performance Upgrade

I am not sure how much power I will gain adding this new Engine Tint, but we will post dyno images once we get them. I am hoping for a 100-500hp gain, fingers are crossed.

Mark And Kenta Roll Through

We were all still a bit dizzy from yesterday mornings magnitude-5.4 earthquake when Mark Arcenal from Fatlace/Nike and Kenta from Tokyo Drive stopped by. We had a good time talking with the guys and it helped take our mind off the fact that our office is on the bottom floor of a structure built in the 1920’s (long before earthquake building codes).

CAUGHT

CAUGHT!
Three perpetrators outside the 530 office.
This is their story.

Car crashed into innocent tree after friends decide to go for a joy ride through the Burger King drive thru in a stolen vehicle.

Folks head outside to assess the situation.

Police Officers also gather to assess the situation and chit chat about their plans for the weekend.

A humble citizen by the name of Reggie appears from the sky and attempts to tow the wreckage away.

After numerous attempts, he struggles to back the vehicle off the curb.
He manages to slam the car up against the innocent tree once again, demonstrating to the public an accurate reenactment of the original crash.

The lowly citizen manages to pull the wreckage from the tree, but only after sustaining more damages to the already wrecked vehicle.

Cr8tive Rec gets up!!!

Our good friends at Cr8tive Recreation posted an all new billboard on La Cienega Ave. After much concern about it being “too dirty” it still stands. You can read more about the controversy at photographer Tyler Shields’ website… where you can also check out some examples of Tyler’s amazing work.

My Friend, Fernando

We walked the few blocks down to the Long Beach convention center this afternoon to meet up with 530medialab hommie Fernando, who was there giving seminars to the Sign Business and Digital Graphics industries for Roland Digital.

Nando donates his speaking fee to a charity for seeing eye dogs… really… No, really!

There is a machine that can print, cut or press anything you want onto any surface you can think of… imagine the possibilities!

1st Annual Long Beach Redneck Parade

It appears some desert folk took the wrong freeway to the river and accidently wound up in downtown LBC yesterday afternoon.

I know Jesse James’ “West Coast Choppers” HQ is down the street, and you really want to impress him, but not even Jesse is gonna think your denim shorts and chrome sunglasses are cool “boat guys”.
