Street League is a worldwide professional street skateboarding series founded by successful pro skater/entrepreneur Rob Dyrdek. In 2010, he assembled 24 of the world’s top street skateboarders, pitting them against each other in order to win a staggering $1.6 million in prize money. For 2011, the second year of the epic event, Street League stepped their game up with a nation-wide tour and even more live programming on ESPN. To make sure their online presence was up to par, they partnered with 530medialab for a complete website redesign along with a strategic email marketing campaign.
When The Hundreds, undoubtedly one of the biggest names in streetwear, relaunched their sophisticated Public Label collection, they needed a new online destination to help carry the torch for the revitalized project. They turned to 530medialab to design and develop a website which would broadcast the sub-label’s unique angle on men’s apparel in the same kind of crispy clean aesthetic the Public Label products embody. With those needs in mind, we developed custom ecommerce functionality tied in with a shop-able lookbook, to ensure that you can peruse the products in a fashion that compliments The Hundreds and their excellent apparel.
While every shoe should have a sole, not every shoe has a soul. CYDWOQ founder Rafi Balouzian ensures that every one of his products has both, and furthermore, each of his creations adheres to an almost impossibly high aesthetic standard, not unlike a work of art. Rafi practices Old World craftsmanship, for modern feet, and only uses the best possible materials, accordingly. So if his footwear is “the next best thing to walking barefoot”, then it was our job to create a custom e-commerce experience which would be the next best thing to checking out the CYDWOQ boutique in person. With that in mind, 530medialab designed and developed a new graphic interface which seamlessly blends an e-commerce function with a new blog, in an eye-pleasing style which serves to compliment the high-end CYDWOQ product.
